Very sturdy. Heavy plate and a heavy spring to make sure it'll last with a weight that makes it easy to grip. Gives a very clean pour.

Best Hawthorne I've ever used

I have a pair of silver Bonzer hawthorne strainers, but I like the AG much more. They are very similar to the cheap hawthorns, but better build all around. Heavy spring and thicker steal. The Bonzers are perhaps a bit better looking then the AGs. But AGs pour cleaner and are more solid.
An excellent strainer.
