I have long been a fan of the Parisian shakers due to their elegant look and not needing to use boston glass (I've broken too many). I have recently been converted to the tin and tin bosons because I love using the Koriko tins (and they are much cheaper!). But I still love having the WMF parisians around. The issue with Parisian shakers is that they can lock up when they get super cold. Unlike bosons there is no trick to getting them apart. Because the WMFs are so much thicker and stiffer then the cheaper parisian shakers, the don't lock up. If you want to use Parisian shakers spend the money for the WMFs, much better tin and better looking too. If your on a budget get the tall and short Koriko set.
