These are the shakers I have been looking for, but have been unable to find. They seal perfectly and come apart with that pop sound I love. Only shakers I will use from now on.

Good heavy steel ensures a tight seal. Just enough flex to close up tight with the cheater, but not enough you have to worry about bending or leaks. Holds up to a good hearty shake, and very rarely locks up when opening. I've had a few good tight vacuums, but it just takes a little finesse to get free.

These awesome shakers have replaced my parisiens, 3 pieces and the standard glass + tin shakers.
Weight is good, easy for transportation and allows a dual shake to speed up productivity. Sound is good, to listen to the ice crack and better judgement of duration of shake. Seal is perfect for dry shake and easy to open once you know the techniques (even if you slam them tightly shut).
Love the engraving and apparently very affordable (japanese material is always good investment). Recommended for travelling bartenders!

Love using these with the matching cheater tins. They converted me from by beloved Parisian shakers. Great seal, good looking and work horses.

To site the review i did on the short version of this tin.. "As many people that landed here are pretty skeptical of how much better than the standard restaurant supply/generic barware site tins could these be. Even with Erick from rickhouse swearing by them i had my doubts...
Needless to say my expectations for these tins were blown away. Just holding them empty you can feel that these shakers are well made and then the seal they create is nothing short of astonishing. No more occasional splashes or feeling like the tins are coming apart these are quality mixing tins and hands down the best ones I've owned."
